    in Colonel Davis's  VA Line, for 2 yrs., Summer of 1779 to Nov
    1781, was discharged at YORKTOWN, VA
    wife:  CHARLOTTE,  aged 50, son aged 11, daus., two, aged 15 & 22,
    in 1826, eldest dau., in poor  health, David aged 55 in Jan 1826
    born in Ireland, (ca. 1738, see age at death) resided near
    Pittsburg, PA David d. 07, Jan 1831 at  age of 93 yrs., in
    Pittsburg, PA............  A great-gdau., wrote for a copy of
    David's pension records, a Mrs. W.W.  RIDDLE, of Pittsburg, PA.,
    in 1898, stated her grandmother  (a dau of 11 yr., old above)
    married a HENNYHILL/HENRYHILL.

    EBENEZER FERGUSON,  S.22237, 1st Sgt., PA TROOPS
    Enlisted Jun 1776, in Philidelphia, Col., CADWALADERS REG'T, under
    Capt., SHARP DELANEY.
    Moved, (with father, name not given) in Dec of 1777, to
    SHIPPENBURG, VA Cumberland Co., and re-enlisted there in 1778, in
    Col., Samuel CULBERTSON'S Reg't., in Capt., John CAMPBELL'S Co.,
    while living on MARSH CREEK in York Co., PA., enlisted in Nov of
    1779 in Capt JAMES JOHNSON'S Co., for 32 mos.
    --->  Allowed a pension, while a resident of Southwork, PA.,
    (Phil. Co) in his 78th year, on the 03, Apr 1833.........no other
    fml. data.

     DIED: 10TH AUG 1839 In 1824 he made reference to his WIFE as age
     68, and a SON over 21 yrs.
