My name is Kelly (Ferguson) Upton. I have just begun researching my fathers side of the family. My grandfather and grandmother were James Giffen Ferguson and Helen (Huml) Ferguson (both from Ohio but have not located the obituaries that I have saved). James' parents were Glenn Amos Ferguson, b. 1 feb 1878, d. may 1967 and Agnes Grace Giffen, b. 26 apr 1886--married 1 jun 1911 in Belmont Co., Ohio. So far I have not had much luck as I have been informally disowned by the living family members. There is a family book in existance that I am trying to obtain from family member entitled The Nichols Family History. All attempts have so far failed but the research goes on. Any information you all have to share would be appreciated.

Would like to let you all know who I am researching. I am actually trying to find my grandfather's family...James Giffen Ferguson, Sr....m. Helen Christine Huml in 1938.
I think James Ferguson's parents were Glen Amos Ferguson and Agnes Grace Giffen. The family called my greatgrandmother Gracie.

Also, if you are related to James and Helen Ferguson, I have pictures of them that I would be happy to share.
