I just signed up for this list less than 2 days ago. Here's where I am stuck.
"I have a Susan Ferguson, b. ca. 1822, Dutchess Co., NY, m. Thomas J. Martin (b. 1817, Poughkeepie, NY - d. 1890, Iroquois Co., IL) abt 1833 and d. 1883 in IL. They had 11 children...first 9 born in NY. Only know for sure that first child, Sarah Jane (my direct line) was supposedly b. 24 Jul 1835 in Utica, Dutchess Co., NY. Other children were Charles (1838), Thomas Jefferson (1845), Josephine (1847), George A. (1848), Solomon (1850), Elmira (1852), Nora (1854), William, Emma, and one more."
