My maiden name was Ferguson and  I descend from Andrew Jackson Ferguson 
b. 1840 Morgan Co. AL. and his father Solomon Wesley Ferguson b. 1815,   
He's my brick wall, he was in the 1850 census of Morgan Co. AL 
with his second wife.  I descend from his first wife (unknown.) 
He disappeared before 1860 census although a daughter was born that year.   
I think probably from James Ferguson, and Moses Ferguson 
but have no proof what so ever.  I don't see anyone having a child 
by the name of Solomon in 1815 except the one in NY on find a grave.
