Hi all.  I haven't posted in quite some time so I thought I'd  post my 
Ferguson research and see if anyone can help me break through my  brick wall.

I'm researching the Fergusons from the Butler County, KS area.  My  
step-great-grandfather was Oscar John Ferguson b. 23 May 1864 in Columbus,  Franklin 
Co., OH; d. 29 Jun 1958 in El Dorado, Butler Co., KS.  He married  Hattie Mae 
Harvel Scates.

His parents were Thomas Thompson Ferguson & Hannah Newland.   Thomas was b. 
17 Oct 1830 in Franklin Co., OH and d. 22 Mar 1918 in Butler Co.,  KS.  Hannah 
was b. 10 Oct 1831 in Franklin Co., OH and d. 31 Jul 1918 in  Butler Co., KS.  
They had 10 children: Mary Jane, George Huston, Charles  Warner, William 
Edward, Oscar John, Elanor, Ira Walter, Frank Thomas, Eva W.,  and James O.  The 
first 8 children were born in Ohio, Eva in Indiana, and  James in Kansas.

Thomas Thompson's parents were William Ferguson b. in Kentucky and Zelah  
Jamison b. in Ohio.  That's the only information I have on them and would  
appreciate any help in breaking through this wall.  My son-in-law is also  connected 
to this line so I'd love to find some more info that I can share with  him.
