I am researching the Flood family and am looking for information on Joseph
H. Ferguson (son of Abraham Clifton Ferguson) was born Abt. 1847.
He
married Elizabeth M. Flood January 12, 1869 in Henry Co., KY, at her
father's home. She was the daughter of Joseph Flood and Emiline Ogden.
They moved from Henry County, Kentucky to Texas in 1886. They had

children, most of whom lived in Texas and Oklahoma.
Children of Joseph Ferguson and Elizabeth Flood are:
1. St. Elmo Ferguson, born January 01, 1870
and lived in Rusk County, TX.
I believe he is the St. Elmo Ferguson who married Bettie L. Kimbrough in
Cherokee, TX in 1893.
2. Mary Emiline Ferguson, born May 31, 1872.
She married (1) Elisha Duke
1886 in Fayette Co., TX. She married (2) W. P. Selman Aft. 1886.
Mary
Ferguson and Elisha Duke had at least two children a daughter and a son
named Elmo Lee Duke, born 1890 in Smith Co., TX.
3. William Clifton Ferguson, born July 22,
1874 in Henry Co., KY; died June
1956 in Douglas, TX. He married Mary Katheryn Thomas February 17, 1902.
William Ferguson and Mary Thomas had several children including: Ernest
L.
Ferguson, born November 19, 1902 in Douglas, Nacogdoches Co., TX; died
July
1990. James W. Ferguson, born November 30, 1903 in Douglas, Nacogdoches
Co., TX; died November 1982 in Port Arthur, TX. He married Stelly

Nacogdoches Co., TX; died April 14, 1990 in Nacogdoches Co., TX. Mary
Ferguson, born February 26, 1906 in Douglas, Nacogdoches Co., TX; died
June
1991 in Nacogdoches Co., TX. J. D. Ferguson, born November 05, 1908 in
Texas.
4. Laura Ferguson, born December 04, 1876.
She married _____ Harvey and
lived in Comanche, TX

Joseph Lee Ferguson, born July 21, 1879; died (I believe) March 1964.He
live in Hastings, OK
Elizabeth M. Flood Ferguson remarried Uehemiah Harvey in 1891 in Cherokee
Co., TX after the death of Joseph H. Ferguson
