I have a William B. Ferguson, b. Aug 15, 1868 in Sevier County, TN. He
was the brother of my gg-grandfather Thomas Ferguson, b. Feb 11, 1829. 
Thomas served in the Civil War as a Co. Sgt., Co. L, 9th TN Cavalry.
Thomas's father was James, b. 1792 in TN. James married Sarah Maxwell.

James Ferguson b. 1792,TN , m. Sarah Maxwell. Children, Thomas b. 1829,
d. 1910, TN. Thomas served in Union Army as Sgt Co. L, 9th TN Cavalry.
Mary b. 1830, Sarah b. 1832, James b. 1835, John b. 1839 and Robert b.
1841.
Children of Thomas Ferguson and Mary Inman (married 1852); Sarah b.
1853, Charles b. 1855, James L. b 1857, Prissilla b. 1859, Alexander b.
1861, Nancy b. 1862, Bruce b. 1865, William b. 1868, E K b. 1869, Mary
b. 1872 Luther b. 1873, Walter b. 1876 and Thomas b. 1879.
James L Ferguson b. 1857 married Nancy M. Allen (Daugh. of Absolum Allen
of Sevier Co., TN). They moved to Davis, Indian Territory (OK) about
1897. They produced at least three children; Sarah E. b. 1879, m. J. E.
White of Sevier Co. TN in 1900; Mary and Willie.
