I have been trying to find some of my husbands Ferguson ancestors for some
time now. It seems that they may have just dropped off the face of the earth.
The Ferguson that I am looing for is Delilah Ferguson. She married James
Coffey in Wilkes County, NC in 1799. I have been told that Moses Ferguson
signed the marriage bond/license. Some researchers list Delilah as Liley
Ferguson, but for the most it is Delilah. Delilah moved to Caldwell County
sometime after their marriage. There has been many a Coffey researcher, but
none have ever listed any information about Delilah, or her parents, or
siblings. There was a Sally Ferguson that married Bennett Coffey in Wilkes
County, NC in 1805, I have thought maybe this could be her sister.  If you
have ever heard of this person and have any information I would be forever
grateful.
