In the list that was provided by Hugh And Sandy there was the name 
of C.B. Fergus  PVT. B 2 MS Nov 15,1864 Con. Sec.
Indianapolis , IN - Confederate Section.

Could you please tell me where I might  find more info on him
I have not started doing anything on the wars yet . But  I guess 
this is the start

what the letters after the name means

Fergus         James         GrBI DC 30-Apr 1860
and what does the second set of numbers mean on Eugene
