My Andrew Ferguson/Furguson was born in Scotland c. 1850 and came to the USA
in 1869. I believe his parents were Alexander and Jean Ferguson of
"Stewarton, Ayrshire and that he married Mary McNarny in Arlington,"
"Middlesex, MA in 1873. The family spent about 10 years in New Brunswick for"
"unknown reasons and returned in 1889 to the Boston area, settling in"
"Winthrop, MA before 1918. There are 9 children including George H Ferguson"
who married Esther Sharkey (my grandparents).
"Of course, any information would be vreatly apreciated."

1910"
"Found my Ferguson clan in the Winthrop, Suffolk, MA census for 1910. Andrew"
"and Mary Ferguson had a duaghter, Helen A , who has the married name of"
"Tibbetts in this census. A son, Howard M Tibbetts (b. abt 1904, Illinois),"
"and a daughter, Helen F Tibbetts (b. abt 1905, MA), are also listed with a"
paternal birthplace of New Hampshire. No husband is in evidence although
"Helen's marital status is listed as ""married"", not ""widowed""."
Any information concerning this family would be appreciated.
"Thanks,"
Scott

"I am researching the Fergusons of Stewarton parish, Ayrshire, Scotland. Any
information, especially concerning the descendants of Alexander Ferguson and
Jane Currie, would be welcome. I am descended from Alexander's son, Andrew, who
emmigrated to the US abt 1869."
