I am new to the list. I would love to hear from anyone who has knowledge
relating to my family.

The earliest Ferguson I know about in my family is Leo Ferguson.(born in
NC, I think)
His son my GGranfather David Alford Ferguson (born 1887), Married
Bessie SPIVEY. They lived in Randleman,NC (Randolph Co).

I would also like to hear from Fergusons from surrounding counties as I
do not know the origin of Leo. I got the name Leo from my Great Aunt.

I am searching for information on Andrew Ferguson, born aqbt 1847 to Alexander Ferguson and Jean Currie, Stewarton, Ayr, SCT.
He emmigrated to the Boston area in the 1860's, worked as a house peainter, and married Mary McNarney(?) in the 1870's. The family spent 10 years in New Brunswick, abt 1878 - 1887, before settling in Winthrop, MA (across the bay from Boston.
Andrew and Mary's children were:
