Hi, I am new and wonder if this connects with anyone:   1850 census of
Hancock co TN shows Elizabeth Ferguson 40(1810) with children Sarah 17,
Robert 15, Jeremiah 15, Emeline 13, Wesley 11, Mary 9, John 7.   Need her
husband, some have said it may be an Andrew from KY. but I can't find him. 
The above John Ferguson b1843 fought with his brother Jeremiah in the Civil
War for the North and are both buried in Hancock Co. TN side by side.  John
Ferguson m Amanda Anderson b1847 dau of CH Andersonb1820 and Eleanor? b
1821.     John and Amanda in 1880 Hancock Co Tn census:   John Ferguson 36,
TN, NC, SC,  Amanda 30 TN,TN,TN,  George 14, Niley 12, Patton 10 Emiline 7,
Nancy 4, Lucy 3,  Bobbie 1.  The last child Bobbie was Robert McHenry
Ferguson and is my husbands direct line and he married Ida Leona Depew.
