This is an update to the "still seeking info on..." list:
(Repeat background): Descendant of Henry & Margaret (Addison) Ferguson,
of Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal, Ireland. Henry (b. abt 1738 d. 4 Aug 1780)
and Margaret (b. abt 1740 d. 5 Jan 1795 in PA). After Henry's death,
Margaret, the surviving children and at least two or possibly three other
families emigrated to the USA in 1789. After Margaret died in PA, the
children and families in the original group all migrated to
Washington Co., TN later that spring.
Henry & Margaret had eight known children:

maintains info on people w/ the Carmichael surname had independent records of Mary's marriage
into the Carmichael family, but also had No Further Data [NFD].
2) Parents of Alexander and/or Mary McNutt (probably siblings), who m. Elizabeth and Alexander Ferguson,
respectively.
3) Parents of Jane McLin, who m. John Ferguson. McLin family researchers have a probable connection,
but no independent verification.
4) Any known husbands or descendants for either Elizabeth or Susanna McNutt, the two known daughters
of Alexander and Elizabeth (Ferguson) McNutt.
5) Parents of John and/or James Nelson (probably brothers), who m. Easther and Margaret Ferguson,
respectively.
