I'm looking for information on Samuel Ferguson, married to Annie Krikes (sp?)....they lived in Mississippi...first child was Leila Mary Ferguson, or Mary Leila Ferguson, born December 1897....several children followed....family moved to Arkansas? and eventually settled in South Texas, Cameron County...Both Samuel and Annie died there in the 1930-1950's. Annie Crights, Moorhead, Ms. Samuel past away between 1945/1951, and Annie past away 1951/52 Children: Leila b.1897 d. 1986 Henry d. 198? Baxtrum d. 1951 Samuel d. 199? Verna b. 1911 d. 199? Margaret d. 199? Leila married Walter Jay Lee, Sr., had 3 children, Annie Ruth, Walter Jay Lee, Jr., Norma Jean. Ferguson family moved from Moorhead, Ms to Rio Grande Valley, Texas, Cameron County. Would like to know more about Samuel and Annie's parentage, and siblings if available. Samuel W. Ferguson was a southern Baptist minister. Last church he pastored was First Baptist Church, Combs, Texas...his father was a plantation owner either in Moorhead or a surrounding town/county. Leila is my grandmother....
