grandfather was Thomas Benton Ferguson (1835-1874). His son, Thomas Benton
Ferguson, Jr. (1866-1943) married Beulah Hamrick. Since it appears that
the Joseph Hamrick, Jr. that I list above was in Franklin Co. VA, there may
be a connection. I realize that there is a time factor that is different
from your message, but the names and place do make me wonder if we have
