"I'm new to this list and noticed the recent roll call activity. Anyone have
Fergusons from Craven Co NC? I'm particularly interested in Anthony Ferguson who
married Nancy C. Hall in 1838 .They had twin sons John Justice Ferguson and
Thomas Hall Ferguson b. 30 May 1840 in New Bern NC. Anthony was son of John, son
of Adam, son of Mark, son of Adam and Elizabeth (Cumings), son of Adam Ferguson
of Princess Anne Co., Virginia. John Justice Ferguson (1840-1901) was the famous
""Alligator"" Ferguson of southwest Florida fame during the 1870s-1890s, taking
fruit by ship from Tampa to Cuba and Key West.."
