William Thomas Furgerson/Furguson/Ferguson. He died in Fulton Co., IL
between Jan. 1859 and whenever the census taker came around in 1860. m
Elisabeth "Betsey" Stufflebeam Medford, 3 children: Priscilla b
12-22-1851 (poss. in MO), John William "Bud" b 2-12-1857 Fulton Co., IL,
and Mary Helen b 10-4-1859 in Fulton Co., IL.

I have no other info on William Thos. Furgerson. There seem to be no
land records or tax records. He cannot be found in cemetery records. His
daughter, Mary Helen, always said she was "half Irish."

Priscilla m John Scalf and remained in Lewiston, Fulton Co., IL her
whole life. Most of her descendants are still in IL.
John William m Lucinda Eveland and moved with his mother and stepfather,
Henry James Wheelen, to Iowa around 1865. He had four daughters.
Mary Helen m John F. Scalf, moved to IN, where 2 daughters were born,
then moved to Arlington, Shelby Co., TN where 6 more children were born.
Eventually the whole family, including her grandchildren, moved to CA.

If any of these people sound familiar, please let me know! I'm at a dead
end (so to speak.)

I can't find any link at all to my Ferguson/Furgerson
ancestor, William Thomas Furgerson b? d 1859-1860 in Fulton Co. IL
(according to a relative-no records that I could ,well, unearth) m
Elisabeth "Betsey" Stufflebeam Medford (she was originally from
KY-Estill Co.) They had 3 children: Priscilla, John William (Bud), Mary
Helen. I don't think I'll ever find this guy!

Do you know a Priscilla Furgerson b 12-22-1851 in MO? Her parents were
William Thomas Furgerson and Elisabeth "Betsey" Stufflebeam Medford.
"Betsey" was b in KY and moved to IL at age 10 (that would be 1837.) I
don't know anything about William Thomas, except that he died around
1860 in IL. They also had 2 other children, John William and Mary Helen,
both b in IL.
