She married WILLIAM SWAN MARSHALL 1856 in West Deer Twp., Allegheny County,
Penna., son of SAMUEL MARSHALL and MARTHA SWAN.

Will of John Ferguson of West Deer Township
Made 27 January 1875, Filed  2 July 1890

I, John Ferguson of West Deer Township, Allegheny County, and Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and disposing mind and memory, do make and
publish this my last will and testament of all my Estate, goods and chattels
whereof I shall die seized.
First: I will that all my household furniture and furnishment of my dwelling
house shall be given to my wife Mrs. Mary Ferguson.
Second: That my just debts shall be paid by my executors herein after named as
soon after my death as convenient.
Third: I will and bequeath to my oldest son, John Ferguson, all the farm on
which he now lives.
Fourth: I will and bequeath to my son Thomas Ferguson all the farm on which he
and I now live, in West Deer Township aforesaid.
Fifth: In consideration of the bequest made to my son John Ferguson in this my
last will, I require him to pay to each of my daughters, to wit: Elizabeth,
now the wife of William Young, Mary, now wife of William Marshall, Agnes, now
wife of William Douglas, and Jane, now wife of John Scott, the full sum of two
hundred and fifty dollars ( $ 250.00 ) cash within six months of my decease.
Sixth: In consideration of the bequest made to my son Thomas Ferguson in this
my last will, I require him to pay each of my daughters aforesaid the like sum
of two hundred and fifty dollars in cash within six months after the date of
my death.
Seventh: It is my will and wish that my wife, Mrs. Mary Ferguson, shall live
with my sons John Ferguson and Thomas Ferguson alternately or as the parties
may agree; the expenses to be equally borne by my said sons John and Thomas,
who are to maintain my said wife in a becoming and comfortable manner during
her natural life.
Eighth: I further will and bequeath to my two sons John and Thomas each one
half amount of the cash and promissory notes that I may own and possess at the
time of my death, share and share alike.
Ninth: I will and bequeath to my son Thomas all the personal property on the
farm, including horses, cattle, farm implements, etc., not including any of
the household furnishment already willed to my wife.
Tenth: I hereby appoint my two sons, John and Thomas Ferguson my executors,
and hereby require them to consult my friend Robert H. Davis in the matter of
their duties in attending to the settlement of my affairs, and to satisfy him
that they have complied with my wishes , as set forth in this will

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the before named John Ferguson, as
and for his last will and testament , in the presence of us, who have hereunto
subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto, in the presence of
said testator, and of each other. Sealed this 27th January A. D. 1875
